Aubrey Plaza

Aubrey Plaza is an actress and comedian born June 26th, 1984. She is April Ludgate in Parks and Recreation. The show's debut was The Jeannie Tate Show which is a web series after performing improv comedy and sketches at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater Plaza. Later in her career, she became a star on Judd Apatow Funny People, Scott Pilgrim and The World. We should celebrate her birthday today. Aubrey Christina Plaza (born in Wilmington, Delaware) is the daughter of Bernadette Plaza, an lawyer by trade and David Plaza a financial consultant. Her mother is Irish, English and Irish and her father is Puerto Rican. Plaza received a degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts as well as a Catholic all-girls college in 2006, after having graduated in 2002. As a student of the Wilmington Drama League, Plaza served as the President of their Student Government. Plaza was paralyzed for some period of time in 2004, following having a stroke. She has now recovered. Plaza has done improv at Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, New York City since 2004. The Laugh Factory, The Improv, and The Laugh Factory in N.Y.C. are just a few of the places she performed stand-up comedy. Plaza starred in E.S.P.N.'s Mayne Street as Robin Gibney, The Jeannie Tate Show with Ben Schwartz and also the premiere Terrible Decisions episode. The actress played Princess, the satirical Sci-Fi character from CollegeHumor Troopers. In 2014, Plaza debuted on saxophone in the Cassorla film Bona Fide. The first time she appeared was in Father John Misty's Hollywood Forever Cemetery Sings in 2012. HarmonQuest, in 2016, was a show that featured Plaza as Hawaiian Coffee. That same year she portrayed Aaron Burr In Drunk History as well as Cat Adams in Season 11 of the C.B.S. Criminal Minds, a TV series. The character of actress was revived by Plaza in season 12 of the show. It was announced a year after that Plaza is set to appear on an independent comedy known as An Evening With Beverly Luff Linn.
